Abortion (Post 7)
The abortion
For many years, abortion was a taboo for many countries, there was very little information about it and, nevertheless, it was practiced clandestinely by a large group around the world.
Many women around the world have had unwanted pregnancies due to different cases, one of them, and the most controversial is sexual assault. It is here when one enters the dilemma of aborting or not aborting, on the one hand, there is the option of maintaining the pregnancy until the end, perhaps due to social pressure on "what they will say", creating a great burden for women. On the other hand, there is the fact of undoing the life that was brewing, which also generates controversy.
But currently, abortion is not legal in many countries, this takes away the right to all women to decide on their bodies, forcing them to gestate a being that generates an emotional weight, and that in the future they would end up in an orphanage. Here, it is when the church is involved, mentioning that these fetuses (engineers) have the right to live, but it is this same one that would dicrimire this person in the future if he is homosexual.
It is proofed that a fetus is not actually living until a few weeks later since the pregnancy started because the nervous system is not developed yet. So you technically wouldn't be ending with a life.
I believe it's time to make women decide about their bodies, men will never understand what it feels carry with such a responsibility. Being pregnant is somenthing that only women can live, and as a woman, I wouldn't support the idea of being controlled about the decisions that are related to my body, and most of time this decisions are taken by men. I call all women to feel stronger and fight for the fact that we live in a male-dominated society. Every step we take leads us to be closer to a world where men and women are equal.
